Helping Hands Community Based Service, Inc. is an outpatient provider of behavioral health and substance abuse services. We accept Medicaid, TriCare, Cigna, Amerigroup, private insurance, and Self-Pay. Our agency provides mental health and addictive diseases treatment to individuals in all Metro-Atlanta counties. We are an agency that address’s individuals, their families, and the community through a holistic approach with over 30 years of combined clinical experience. We are a CORE Provider for the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD).
The goal is to develop service plans in full partnership with individuals and families. The services and treatments are individual and family centered, and geared to give individuals real and meaningful choices about plan options. Another goal is the recovery of the individual. We focus on recovery, employment, housing and the individual having a meaningful life personally and in the community. These outcomes are measured by: Increased Stability in Housing, Engaging the Homeless, Decreased Criminal Justice Involvement, and Reduced Utilization of Psychiatric Inpatient Beds.
Our agency is accredited through the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). We are members of the Old National Highway Merchants Association (ONMA), Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD), Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), and the Better Business Bureau (BBB).
